Thank you Lesley. Your great professional and very friendly advice has helped me and Nancy over the last few weeks. Being shown how Nancy can be trained, how to do things such as off, down etc etc has not only been good training for Nancy but also for myself.

Nancy also had a tendency to go into frantic behaviour when people came into the house and literally jump all over them and bark continuously (in a friendly way) but with excellent guidance from Lesley this now has been reduced down to mostly just a friendly greeting from Nancy and after a very short period (a few minutes) to just enjoy her toys etc.

I would certainly recommend Paws up Academy to any persons that require training/help or guidance with their loved pets. Thank you Lesley.

Met Lesley today for the first time. OMG! The stuff we learnt from this lovely lady is amazing! Had to write things down to remember as there was so much info.
As dog owners for years, we thought we knew it all. How wrong we were. I was amazed at how simple the tricks are. I thought my dog needed long runs on the beach, off lead every day! No is the answer. More info available from this very knowledgeable lady on her site and definately when you meet. Well worth the money. Having her back in a couple of months to see how much I have learnt, and put into practice.

Monty just completed his 6 week puppy training course with Lesley and we are looking forward to some next stage sessions in a few weeks! (I know he’s bigger than my first car, but he’s only 9 months)

My 6-month-old puppy finished his puppy training classes with Lesley yesterday and I can safely say that I see a huge difference in his behaviour and skills, as well as my own, since his first session at the beginning of February.

She has helped me understand my dogs own behaviours and I truly feel that I have more confidence as a dog owner and can use the tools she has taught me to continue his training.

I cannot recommend Lesley enough. I had a very nervous and reactive Pomeranian who was not socialised until she was almost one. Lesley told me all about Poms and dog behaviour which helped me understand my dog so much better. I still have a way to go but I can honestly say Lesley has helped Nelly become a more confident dog and me a more confident owner. I now know how to handle certain situations and Nelly trusts me to help her. She now listens to me when she sees another dog/person/car or other distractions. Her reactivity and general obedience have improved massively. Lesley has changed mine and Nelly's life for the better and I am excited to see what the future holds!❤️

After difficulty introducing our new puppy to our 1 year old dog ourselves, I messaged Lesley at Paws Up Academy and had a response and appointment booked within 2 hours of initial contact!

I can't thank Lesley enough for her advice and support with an extremely nervous dog who was using aggression to try and get visitors to leave. With her advice, I now know ways to control this, with these tools I am more confident which in turn makes Rupert more confident. Lesley has done amazing work with our little Staffie, he is only 16 wks old and is already responsive to our commands and he loves her!......The time and expertise that she has shared with us and Blue has been life changing he has changed so much in the last month and the training she has done with him is the reason for this, our time with him is a lot more fun and relaxed now he has grasped the basic commands for around the house and whilst out walking. He’s so much better with his recall - he walks reliably next to me off lead in fields and he goes off lead at the playing field - remarkable since he would barely respond to his name when you started with him!



His self control has improved hugely too, and he now waits on command - he even waits before crossing the road when walking on a lead! I’m really pleased with this as he practically had no self control before your help.

After my Sister's recommendation we rang Lesley about our anxious adopted Setter. Lesley was marvellous. She is very calm, listens, and has the dogs best interests at heart. She brought round different leads for us to try, and assorted toys to try. She gave us sensible, easy to follow advice, and after 3 sessions our Setter was noticeably more relaxed. What’s more, Lesley is not expensive, or pushy. We wholeheartedly recommend her.

I cannot recommend Lesley enough I was ready to give up with my 11 month Rottweiler and his constant pulling and barking at other dogs while out and him misbehaving in the home.
